     EDCS developed teller based frequent fan programs for the horse racing industry in the mid 1980's.  In 1995 EDCS installed the first kiosk based multi-media system at a major league sports team for the San Diego Padres.  Overwhelming success led to many more Major and Minor league teams signing on.

For the first time teams were able to learn more about their customers and provide targeted and relevant incentives to ticket holders.  This led to increased ticket sales, merchandise sales and sponsorhip sales.

New sponsors were identified by the knowlwedge gained from the interactive system.

Today the kiosks can be replaced with smart phone devices.  Internet and smartphone interaction provides an even more flexible, efficient and cost effective solution.
